Paul Rennie graduated with honors in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. He obtained his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. In June, 1981, he became employed as a law clerk and paralegal with the Firm and stayed on as an associate of the Firm upon admission to the Bar. His primary concentration is commercial collection and litigation, representing both secured and unsecured creditors. He has given lectures and seminars on various commercial law topics and is currently an instructor for the National Association of Credit Management of Western Pennsylvania, teaching a course entitled "Business Law for the Credit Professional". He is also an active member of the Saint Vincent College Alumni Association, and served as President of its Alumni Council for 1998-99.

Paul currently lives in Whitehall Borough in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh with his wife Lisa, daughter Katie, and son James.
