Philip E. Beard II

Philip Beard, II attended Colgate University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, from which he graduated cum laude in 1988. He has an AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell.

Since joining the Firm, Phil's concentration has been in the area of corporate law, oil and gas law and bankruptcy/insolvency law. He serves as general counsel to several of the Firm's corporate clients, and has handled various contract negotiations, sales and acquisitions for those clients.

Phil enjoys singing and playing the guitar, and he is an avid golfer. He and his wife Traci and daughters Cali, Madelynne and Phoebe live in Aspinwall, where they recently completed a four-year restoration of their turn-of-the-century Victorian home.
