The focus of Beau's practice is corporate law and oil & gas law. He also works with the firm's bankruptcy/insolvency group. His corporate practice includes areas such as day-to-day business contractual work, buying and selling businesses or their assets, and working with family-owned and closely held businesses in dealing with issues such as redemptions, buy/sell arrangements, shareholder and shadow equity agreements, transitions and other matters unique to private and family owned organizations. His oil & gas work includes (i) buying and selling oil & gas interests in wells, leases and related assets, (ii) negotiating and drafting Joint Operating Agreements, Exploration Agreements as well as contracts for drilling, well service and lease acquisition, and (iii) pipeline management and ownership agreements. His bankruptcy and insolvency practice includes both bankruptcy and especially out-of-court workout experience representing both creditors and debtors.
